Missouri Sunflower Field Engagement
I took a short trip to Missouri later this summer to shoot Maddie and Nathan’s engagement. I’ve known Maddie and her family for a long time. We attended church together where her father, our paster and dear friend married Noah and I. I’ve shot Maddie’s senior photos, family photos and even her older brother’s wedding. So you can only imagine the joy and gratitude I felt when I was asked to document such a vital chapter in her life.
Nathan (her fiancé) and Maddie chose to have their engagement photos in a sunflower field. We spent quite a bit of time frolicking among giant sunflowers, chasing the golden warm light and then (me) ending up with the worst pollen allergies ever (but so worth it!)
