A Vintage VW Polo Fall Shoot
I met Kalin at a workshop last year, she’s the sweetest and friendliest soul and so it wasn’t hard to make friends with her immediately. She makes beautiful calligraphy for weddings, engagements etc.
While getting to know her, one of the cool things I learned about Kalin and her sweet husband, Taylor, are that they participate in the motorsport of drifting!! I took a moment to let that info. settle in, because tbh, how many women I knew “drift”. As made popular by Japanese culture and movies like “Tokyo Drift” (which was the only knowledge I had on drifting), I was immediately in awe of Kalin. So, it was only a matter of spending time with these two, getting to know each other and laughing together. I’m honored to have taken their photos in this season of their lives. Speaking of cars, the couple drove up in their orange vintage VW Polo (so freakin’ cool!)
